The Mountain and Water Resources Lab (Lab-MoRH), led by Dr. Marcelo Somos-Valenzuela at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Baylor University, brings together students and researchers from Baylor University, Universidad de La Frontera (Chile) and partner institutions. We study the terrestrial water cycle in mountain regions by combining field observations, remote sensing, statistical and physically based modeling, and geochemistry, to understand hillslope processes, glaciers, climate change and hydrological refugia, and their impacts on water resources.
